North East homes raise money for Alzheimers Society

Three Four Seasons Health Care homes in Hartlepool joined together for a social evening in order to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. Westview Lodge, Warrior Park and Manor Park all took part in the event in which they raised an impressive £600.

Kellyanne Rutherford, Alison Austwicke, Julie Howlett and Jamie Burnett, Personal Activities Leaders, arranged the fundraiser in the local area so residents, families and friends of all could come and join in the fun. Guests enjoyed a disco, raffle and buffet for the evening in order to get the fundraising going.

Jamie told us “It was very successful so we’ve taken the decision to do this on an annual basis. It was a great team effort by everyone and it was great to see all the guests enjoying themselves so much. The £600 raised has been donated to Alzheimer’s Society – dementia is something we witness on a daily basis so it’s always nice to be able to support such a worthy cause”.
