Old Vicarage Care Home in Worksop has been awarded their ‘React to Red’ accreditation.
Pauline Clews, Home Manager, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the team here at Old Vicarage. I am very proud of all of the hard work they have put in to meet the standards of the React to Red Programme, and the positive impact it has had on the home.”
The React to Red Skin programme educates the team in preventing the incidence of avoidable pressure ulcers which is an essential goal in any care environment.
The home has benefitted from resources, training and support provided by the clinical commissioning group throughout the programme.
Pauline Clews, added: “By achieving this accreditation we can reiterate to resident and their families that we have their care at the heart of everything we do.”
