Residents, relatives and the care team at Hesslewood House Care Home in Hessle enjoyed a lovely Christmas treat as a local choir came carol singing.
Kate Wilson, Home Manager, said: “The residents really enjoyed listening and singing along with the carols. I want to thank the Choir for taking the time to come and perform for us.”
Keeping with the Christmas theme the residents went to visit the Winter Wonderland display at Spring Garden Centre.
Kate Wilson added, “The residents visit Spring Garden Centre’s display every year. It’s always nice to see, as it’s always different. The residents thoroughly enjoyed it. One of them even tried to make off with part of the display, after falling in love with a gingerbread man. Alas he had to stay there with the others as part of the display. He would have looked good here at Hessle.”
