Residents from Layden Court Care Home in Maltby have been making the most of the dry weather by enjoying numerous trips out.
Steven was the first brave man to venture out into the spring morning as he walked up to the village.
Jenny Hololob, Home Manager, said: “Steven wanted to pop into the village and do a little bit of window shopping. He was wrapped up tight in his coat but was still feeling the cold. He told me that winter is still in the air, and he couldn’t wait to get home to Layden Court to warm up.”
Some of the other residents popped out for a pub lunch in Hind, and tucked into some of their favourite grub.
Jenny Hololob added: “We actively encourage our residents to go out in the local community. That way they can keep in touch with the comings and goings in the area. The residents are now planning their next trip out, which they’re very excited for.”
