A novel skin treatment was discovered by Laura Pratt when she decided to take a bath in baked beans as part of a fund raising day for Age UK. "I wanted to do something different to support Age UK, and a bean bath seemed like a good idea. I didn't expect the beans to be so cold though" laughed Laura after her dip. Residents and visitors alike took turns to anoint her with jugs of baked beans and everyone had a great laugh.
On Friday 3rd May Catchpole Court Care Home had local school 'Stour Valley Community School' from Clare visit. The band played in the garden of the home residents, staff and relatives all enjoyed watching and listening to the band.
On Monday 22nd April 2013 staff members, family members, the Mayor Jack Owen and the Deputy Major Adrian Osborne all took part in our Sponsored Walk to raise money for our Residents Amenities Fund.
The Parklands Care Home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire received a Recognition Of Care and Kindness Award which was nominated to Four Seasons Health Care by a family member, Mrs S Redfern, for the kindness and care the whole team have shown towards her mother Mrs W Stott, a Resident at The Parklands.
Staff at St Helen's Care Home received a Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award from Pete Calveley himself, for all the hard work they do at the Home.
