Lauren thanked for making a difference

Lauren Collins, a Care Assistant at Amethyst House Care Home in Doncaster has received an award after being commended for her caring nature.

Lauren was nominated for a Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award by a family member of a resident in her care.

The nomination from Ms Higham-Bell read: “Lauren is an absolutely amazing carer. She is so kind and thoughtful and makes every effort to make you feel welcome. My dad enjoyed having a laugh with her. She looked after him brilliantly and would always sit and talk to you.

Diane Henry, Regional Manager for Doncaster, said: “This award for Lauren is very well deserved. I want to congratulate her on her success, and thank her for all of her hard work and dedication. I’d also like to thank Ms Higham-Bell for taking the time to nominate her. Keep up the fantastic work Lauren.”
