Copper Beeches Care Home in Rochester has been rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
The home received the rating across all of the health watchdog’s core criteria including being safe, caring and providing effective care.
The home was also rated as ‘Good’ in the previous inspection in August 2016, but Inspectors had identified some areas for improvement including being effective and responsive. The improvements have now been made and the Inspectors said the residents received care and support from attentive staff who knew their needs, individual likes and dislikes, interests and preferences.
A visiting relative told Inspectors: “I cannot fault the home staff. If anything ever happens to me, this is where I want to come.” Martin Murphy, Regional Managing Director said: “It’s a credit to the care team that Copper Beeches is now rated as good against all of the core inspection criteria, and this is reflected in the warm and positive comments by relatives and visiting care professionals.”
