April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:
- and Making a Difference
Jane Buckingham, Care Assistant at Dounemount Care Home in Macduff has been crowned VIP for the month of April after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Kay Robertson, Home Manager, said: “Jane was our VIP for April because she is a very caring person who is lovely with the residents. It was lovely reading the comments people wrote about her, as they mentioned that she always puts a smile on people’s faces and that she creates a happy atmosphere. Well done Jane, you really are our VIP.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.
“Congratulations Jane, you should be really proud of your success.”
