Lindsay Matthew, Personal Activities Leader at Dounemount Care Home in Macduff has been crowned VIP for the month of November after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Rae McDonald, Home Manager, said: “Lindsay is the Personal Activities leader for Dounemount and is doing a great job, having only been in the role since May. She knows the residents very well and organises activities to suit their needs. Lindsay has worked hard over recent months training and supporting the staff team through the Dementia Care Framework.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives. “Congratulations Lindsay, you should all be really proud of your success.”
