A wonderful day of celebrations was had by David ('Teddy') Moir and his family as they joined together for Teddy's 100th birthday party at Stobhill Care Home in Glasgow.
Family and friends visited today all day to celebrate. In his younger days Teddy had served in the Royal Navy traveling all over the world, so for his special day the home arranged for two Naval Officers to visit and congratulate Teddy on his very special day.
It was all go throughout the afternoon as the Evening Times came to the home to interview Teddy and take photographs for an article about his life, which appeared in the paper a few days later.
Teddy loved seeing members of his family throughout the day, in particular daughter Georgie, grand-daughters Gayle and Gemma and gorgeous great-granddaughter Callie, who is just 9 months old
Well done to Stobhill team member Georgina for organising the party for family and friends and making it a real day to remember.
