The Cadets presented the residents with knitted poppies, and spent time collectively discussing and remembering those who bravely fought for their country, and lost their lives.
One of our residents was Sergeant Major in the RAF, so he took it upon himself to inspect the Cadets, and give them orders, which they respectfully completed.
Another resident discussed the participation of the Danish soldiers in the War, from his own experiences. This proved to be a compelling topic of conversation that prompted a lot of discussion.
Thank you to the Training Corps for visiting and spending time with our residents. The day was highly enjoyable and allowed for many fascinating discussions between the two generations.
