A group of residents at Laurels Lodge care home enjoyed an afternoon of delicious strawberry tea at their local Methodist Church, accompanied by Marlene, the homes Personal Activity Leader (PAL). They agreed that the highlight of the day was the friendly young children who came and chatted to them and made them laugh.
Marlene says: “It was so nice of one of the residents family members to invite us to their church, it was a pleasure having to spend time with the other church members and it was a good opportunity for our residents to meet other people as well. It was a great day out!”
