Children from Happy Day’s Nursery popped in to have some fun with residents at Comber Care Home in Comber.
The group enjoyed lots of different activities, but it was the story telling that brought both young and old out of their shells. It was one of the resident’s 91st birthday, and the children sang the birthday song twice.
Anne Robertson, Home Manager, explained: “It’s great to see the energy that bringing these two sets of generations together can have. This was the first time that we’d tried anything like this, and as it was a huge success we’re hoping it becomes a regular thing.”
