Residents and the care team at Dounemount Care Home in Banff took some time to reminisce last week, looking back at World War 2 memorabilia and items to do with agriculture.
Rae Paterson, Home Manager, explained: “Our residents thoroughly enjoyed looking through the reminiscence boxes. They had some amazing things to look at that were great talking points, enabling residents to give us their own memories from their life e.g. newspaper clippings, ration books and different clothing that was worn. It was very interesting and great to see everyone getting involved.”
