Hallgarth knit to help premature babies

Hallgarth Care Home have been busy clicking their knitting needles making hats and blankets to give extra warmth to the babies in their early days at The Royal Victoria Infirmary’s Special Care Baby Unit in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Residents, family members and Gail from the Magic Moments Team have all helped with the knitting and this is their fourth donation consisting of 50 hats and 3 blankets.

Gail said, “We are always keen to support the baby unit and our ‘Hallgarth Knitters’ have really enjoyed making these; every tiny hat is knitted with love.”
