Residents, relatives and the care team at Laganvale Care Home in Moira all enjoyed a traditional ‘Burns Supper’ on the 25th January 2018. The home embraced the event by holding a whole day themed around the event.
Shily Paul, Home Manager, said: “We went the extra mile for our supper. We had a traditional Scottish lunch of Scotch Broth, haggis, neeps, tatties and sherry trifle. In the afternoon we had a live Scottish Piper, entertaining the residents. Peggy one of our residents, who is originally from Glasgow was completely overwhelmed as songs from her youth flooded the corridors of Laganvale. It was a lovely way to spend the day.”
