Meet the team behind our menus

Meal times punctuate the day and at Four Seasons, we’re dedicated to making each one a memorable experience – whether it’s a light afternoon snack or more formal evening dinner.

Our in-house team design and develop menus, source suppliers of quality produce and lovingly prepare, test and taste each and every meal before finalising our menus. We’re as selective with the recruitment of our hotel services team members as we are our carers – they’re the best of the best because we place a lot of importance on making dining special.

Our Hotel Services team guide our homes in all aspects of the dining experience for residents. From restaurant style table settings, gathering resident feedback on our menu, right through to how to make room service special.

John Bridgeman, our Group Food Development Chef, is at the helm of our menu development. Having worked in Michelin star restaurants, he brings a wealth of experience to our care homes and is responsible for all things food related, including the creation of seasonal menus for Four Seasons Health Care.

“Having worked as a chef in Michelin star restaurants I moved to the care home sector and found it a delight working with such motivated teams who are focused on our residents' wellbeing and providing them with tasty, nutritionally balanced meals that they’ll love. ,” said John.

“I deal with all things food related including the seasonal menus for our care homes.”

Working alongside John is a team of Regional Support Chefs, who provide support and guidance to our kitchen teams across our portfolio of care homes. All have extensive experience in catering across a wide variety of other sectors, including education and hospitality, as well as healthcare.

Many have worked their way up into senior positions, such as Tomasz Kaczynski who began work with us as a Kitchen Assistant and has been consistently promoted as a result of his hard work and dedication.

“Ten years ago I started as a Kitchen Assistant,” said Tomasz. “The company gave me the opportunity to do my training and qualifications, to help me get the job I have always dreamed of.”

Every member of our Hotel Services Team is passionate about providing our residents with delicious, wholesome menu choices.

Lindsay Grant, Regional Support Chef, said: “I love making and helping others to create food that our residents enjoy every day.”
