Murrayfield receive lovely cards from local primary school

Residents of Murrayfield Care Home were elated to receive such fantastic cards from local school children.

Students from Kingfisher Hall Primary Academy have dedicated their time to making beautiful cards. They’ve drawn fantastic pictures and written lovely messages to our residents.

The messages spoke about how the children were disappointed when their school closed, as they were unable to see their friends. However, they told our residents all the fantastic things they did during lockdown.

It seems the lockdown has made some of the school children into keen bakers! One student wrote, “I learnt how to cook vanilla cake and puff puff.” Another student mentioned he learnt how to make chocolate cake.

These cards have brought so much joy to our residents and we will cherish them for a long time.

Thank you Kingfisher Hall Primary Academy!
