It is planned that visits will take place once a month with residents and children completing activities together such as arts and crafts, cake decoration, gardening and music therapy.
It is hoped that the children and our residents will build up meaningful relationships, which evidence shows can help to minimise isolation and low moods and improve residents' thought processes, dexterity and movement. All parties really enjoyed their first visit and can't wait for next month!
