It was all fun and games at Hallgarth Care Home this week, as the residents took part in a parachute training activity.
The session was organised by Simon Charlton, a personal trainer who has been holding regular exercise classes at the Durham care home for the past eight years. The sessions, referred to as 'chair army' classes, always put the residents through their paces, and aim to provide the residents with some gentle exercises that benefit them both physically and mentally.
The group had a fantastic time and couldn't contain their laughter, as they did the Mexican wave and tried to balance balls around the parachute.
