The whole team at South Park Care Home in York has been nominated for a ROCK (Recognition of Care and Kindness) Award by the relative of a resident at the home, who said:
"My wife cannot communicate with the staff but they treat her with kindness, respect and love. I could not have brought her to a better care home. I will always go out my way to promote the home which has very high caring standards.
"The staff are always friendly and kind to residents and relatives. Any queries you have they will go the extra mile to solve them. South Park Care Home would always get ten out of ten from my family and myself."
Awards were presented to Joanne Fisher, Home Manager, Vikki Hamblin, Deputy Manager and Olivia Walker, Registered Mental Health Nurse at a recent staff meeting.
The Recognition Of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award scheme was introduced by Four Seasons to give residents and/or their families, friends and visiting professionals the opportunity to nominate team members who have shown exemplary standards in their care towards a resident for a special award.
